Shield (Eagle and Serpent) from the Aphaia Temple, Glyptothek Munich


So-called eagle shield from the west pediment of the Aphaia Temple, Aegina, colour reconstruction (plaster, natural pigment according to the Price Method in tempera technique). Polychromy: Ulrike Koch-Brinkmann.
