Alexander Sarcophagus, Alexander on Horse, National Museum Istanbul (Variant A)

Alexander the Great on horseback. Section of the Persian battle frieze of the so-called Alexander Sarcophagus (Istanbul Archaeology Museum), colour reconstruction, Variant A on the basis of an electronic measurement and a form created with the aid of the prototyping method (plaster, natural pigment according to the Price Method in tempera technique). Polychromy: Ulrike Koch-Brinkmann.
